A British dad has been found alive after going missing on Saturday following a stag do in Benidorm. Jason Taylor, 36, was reportedly spotted on a Spanish beach after leaving Alicante airport when his boarding pass didn't allow him through the security barriers. He has since been reunited with his family, who had flown to Spain to help police search for the Welsh engineer.

Mr Taylor was in the queue for his return flight from Alicante to Birmingham, before suddenly leaving and heading towards Torrellano, according to his wife. Marie Taylor said Spanish police obtained CCTV of her husband leaving the airport queue without his phone, after having issues with his boarding pass.

Jason’s aunt, Robbie Fitzgerald, said this afternoon in a short message on social media: “Jason has been found and is currently with his family. Thank you all for sharing and caring.”

Mrs Taylor said she had "no idea" why her partner left the airport, but believed he could have stepped out to "clear his head" and got lost. Mr Taylor's friend Gaz Edwards said he was separated from their group, after arriving at Alicante airport at 8.30am on Saturday.

According to Mr Edwards, Mr Taylor was unable to get through the gate at Alicante airport and went to get help, with one member of the party waiting behind for him. "We tried several times to scan his boarding pass but it was not accepted and the gate would not open, an error message came up saying to contact the airline", he said.
