You should start at chapter 16. The last episode was adapted from there, but not entirely. In my opinion there's no need to read the previous chapters, since they were all adapted to the anime.

Just read from the start, there are only 36 chapters released. It's not like some other series where reading from the start means you have to read hundreds and hundreds of chapters just to get to where the anime left off. Plus, the art in the manga is really good, so reading from the beginning lets you enjoy more of that aspect as well.

Chapter 16.

And basically what the person above me said. It wouldn't hurt to start from the very beginning. And the art is absolutely gorgeous.

Reading Citrus is like eating a sugary desert, even if you have seen the anime, reading the manga from start will neet you right away alot of tingling feelings~~

Yep, a pretty faithful adaptation, with here and there some small changes, in my opinion.

Chapter 1.

The anime and the manga are TOO DIFFERENT. The anime isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, but you are better off starting at the beginning. It doesn't waste your time, and even if you saw the same scenes in the anime, the manga is better hands down. Read it.

Each time it has been too long and I want to catch up with the manga release, I try to read some chapters at the start again, and immediatly get sucked in and always end up re-reading it hours and hours.

I should honestly do a reread myself as well.

Only manga I have re-readed, and I have done it more than just once or twice, despite knowing what happens those first 9 chapters are still amazing every time.

Or do like me, still around chapter 24-26, I know the last arc is heavy on drama, so I m just going to wait for said arc to end rather than torture myselfl with monthly release of seeing my romantic yuri ship getting sink deep into despair...

For anyone who browses this topic later, you can absolutely skip the first thirteen chapters or so (which cover episodes through ~10 in the anime). There are subtle differences in a few characters but up to that point, this is probably the closest thing to a one-to-one adaptation I've seen in some time.
